Tô Ryû-Mon, the dragon gate, refers to Chinese mythology.
It is said to be located at the top of a waterfall descending from a legendary mountain. Legend has it that although many Koi Carp try to swim upstream against the very strong current of the river, very few are able or brave enough to make the last jump over the waterfall. If a carp succeeds in this jump, then it transforms into a mighty dragon.
