Household linen

You will find here a selection of typical Japanese textile items, such as: furoshiki, tenugui but also towels. A furoshiki is a square of fabric, much like a scarf, used to wrap various objects, in order to carry them or to wrap a gift. It is practical, aesthetic and eco friendly. A tenugui is a cotton fabric, usually 90 x 35cm, featuring traditional patterns or scenes. It is used for cooking, hands, dishes, etc.., but also as a souvenir or decoration, as put in a frame, for example. It can also be put in kendo helmet.
