Tabi socks are so useful and comfortable! But these particular Japanese socks are also full of wisdom.
The monk Bodhidharma (called Daruma in Japanese) is the father of Zen Buddhism. He is often depicted with gruff look, with a shaggy beard and big crystal clear eyes topped by bushy eyebrows.
These split toe socks also features the Japanese proverb "Shichiten Hakki", often associated with Daruma dolls. It can be translated as "the ups and downs of life" (literally it means falling 7 times and getting up 8 times).
