The purses from the collection "Gamaguchi" are made in Kyôto, of thick cotton, dyed by hand with traditional prints.
Kumihimo is a traditional Japanese form of braid-making, where cords and ribbons are made by interlacing strands. They were used to lace samurai's lamellar armors. Today, kumihimo cords are used to make obijime and cords for tying haori jackets.
Its size extends the functionality to other uses than just a coin purse, such as for small cosmetic goods.
The pearls grip and clasp mechanism will allow you to open it smoothly with one hand.
